Do I have rights to the photos?

Digital downloads and a print release for personal use are included in the pricing. This print release gives you the right to print with any company besides my professional printing lab if you choose. Sharing rights are also included to post the joy on social media.

What if it storms?

While I love a rainy day and umbrellas ;) spots on outfits and lightning are things we want to avoid.

The good news is that storms can move quickly here, especially in the summer.

I don’t stress about the rain % until it’s in the 60-70’s.

I will text the day before or the day of the session with backup Plans A, B, and C. Try to keep your schedule flexible.

Options include: moving up our time, rescheduling for the following morning or afternoon,

OR going to a covered location like the WWII Museum on SSI, the Westin Hotel on Jekyll, or The Cloister on Sea Island if you are unable to reschedule.

If you cannot move the time and do not want to use the backup locations, I will hold onto the non-refundable retainer and apply it toward another date at any time in the future.

Can I bring my fur baby?

All dogs are welcome! I have a squeaky toy in my bag just for pups to look excited for the camera. It’s best to bring an extra person on your shoot to hold the dog while he/she is not in the photos.

Do you shoot on Sea Island, Jekyll island, and Brunswick?

All the time! I can never get enough of Sea Island’s Cloister Hotel and Beach Club. I love Jekyll’s historic district and its picturesque Driftwood Beach.

What about Covid?

Photographer was fully vaccinated in April 2021. Photographer will wear a mask during the session if requested and will not come in contact with clients or clients’ items. If Photographer falls ill, Photographer will make every effort to find a suitable replacement Photographer or reschedule and apply the retainer to the new date once original Photographer tests negative.

In the event Clients determine that a postponement of the shoot is necessary due to Covid-19 health concerns, Clients must notify Photographer within 7 days of the original date. Photographer will allow Clients to reschedule the shoot one (1) time within a 12 month period of the original date without a new reservation fee or changes to photography pricing.

The retainer and all other payments made by Clients up to the date of rescheduling due to unsafe weather, Acts of God, including Covid-19, are non-refundable and will transfer over to the rescheduled date. The final 50% remainder due by Clients under this Agreement will be moved to the new rescheduled date.

Photographer will give Clients first choice of all available dates on its calendar within the 12 month period. After the first courtesy postponement, in the event Clients reschedule the shoot again, a rescheduling fee of $50 will apply for each subsequent postponement thereafter and Photographer reserves the right to increase its package pricing.

If Clients determine not to reschedule and cancel the shoot altogether or choose a new date that Photographer or any associates are not available for, the retainer and all other payments made by Clients are still non-refundable, such payments will be credited to Clients’ account, and credit may be used for any type of services offered by or any associates within 12 months from the date of cancellation. Should Clients fail to Notify Photographer of any postponement or cancellation within 7 days of the original date, Clients forfeit the retainer and all payments paid.
